Corinthians 13:13... "Now these three things exist: faith, hope, and love...".  "Hope" created by Elizabeth is a display of "Hope virtue" in her Faith, Hope and Love series.  Christians must have hope in God's salvation and not let the hardships encountered in life weaken their faith in God.  Just as the painting expresses the light of God that illuminates us and leads us out of the dark and shadowy woods.
